Topic: Boosting workout intensity without overdoing it-

I'm trying to find balance with intensity during my workouts. I want to ramp it up a notch, but I find that when I do, I sometimes injure myself or get so sore that I can't work out for three days. How can I boost the intensity of my workouts without overdoing it?
