Topic: What do you know abut the Mediterranean diet?-
LynnGr, Nov 10 2008 1:49 pm59 words

I keep hearing about the Mediterranean diet, where you eat more vegetables, whole grains, fish and use olive oil instead of other types of fats like butter, margarine, or corn oil. Has anyone tried to follow these guidelines in your own food choices? Did you find that it was easier to lose weight with that type of eating plan?

Haven't tried it yet, but am researching it. I really want to go the low carb route. I already use onlyolive oil and am currently trying to eat more veggies. I'll let you know what I find out

Thanks! I'll be interested to hear what you decide. I don't think the Mediterranean diet is low-carb, though, is it?
