Topic: Diabetes-related foot pain-
tinap1, Nov 7 2008 4:14 pm60 words

I know many people living with diabetes who experience foot pain in one form or another. Even the simplest things like just touching the skin or putting a sheet over their feet in bed can be painful for them. Do any of you experience diabetes-related foot pain or sensory symptoms like numbness, burning or tingling? How do you get relief?

Excellent topic. I experience foot pain constantly whether walking, just sitting down or sleeping. I take medications for the pain and also use pain patches but it does not stop the pain, just eases so that it is not so severe. I feel that nothing is going to help and my doctor says that there is no cure and that there is going to come a time where the pain meds strength is going to have to be increased.

I have foot pain as well. It is hard for me to tell exactly where the pain is located. Is there any way to relieve the pain when you are trying to go to sleep?
