Topic: The benefits of beans-
tinap1, Sep 23 2008 12:56 pm61 words

Beans are a healthy choice for everyone, but they may be even more beneficial to those living a diabetes lifestyle because they are so high in soluble fiber. Do you eat a variety of beans? If so, do you have tips to share about how to add them into our daily diet? Have you seen health benefits by eating more beans?

I love chickpeas tossed in a salad, chili with lots of kidney beans, and lentil soup. I probably don't eat these as often as I should (or could), but you've given me a new incentive.
