Most of us live on a budget of some kind and with food prices rising in the grocery stores lately; it can stretch your pocketbook and present a challenge. Have you found any unique ways to stretch your dollar and still maintain your diet plan? What strategies do you use in the grocery store to stay on your diet without over spending? Do you have any low cost recipes that are also healthy you would like to share?
I like to use legumes in recipes in place of at least part of the meat. Legumes are cheaper, and they don't have any fat. Plus they're a good source of fiber. This works great in something like an enchilada, taco, or even lasagna.
