Topic: Using olive oil instead of butter or margarine-
LynnGr, Aug 21 2008 6:52 pm86 words

Most of us know that replacing butter with olive oil is good for our heart and cardiovascular system, but did you know that olive oil can also be helpful for people with diabetes? Some research shows that following a Mediterranean-type of diet, high in fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts, fish and olive oil can help improve overall blood sugar control. How do you use olive oil in your daily food and cooking and choices? Have you made an effort to replace butter or margarine with olive oil?
