Topic: How do you think of your diet?-
tinap1, Aug 18 2008 7:35 am88 words

To adopt a diabetes lifestyle, it's extremely helpful to change your way of thinking and move away from a diet mentality of deprivation toward a mentality of abundance. The key to this, of course, is choosing the right foods to eat more of.

Do you think it's important to focus more on the foods you can eat more of, or does it help you to be more mindful of what you can't have, and eat less of the bad foods?

What foods do you eat more of now?

I eat a lot more fruits and vegetables than I used to. I do like to concentrate on what I CAN have, rather than what I can't. Thinking about the can't side makes me feel deprived and then I start to crave those foods.
