Topic: Ice Cream-
ShelleyN, Aug 6 2008 10:02 pm94 words

Summer is traditionally a time to enjoy cold treats like ice cream. Many of us have memories of growing up enjoying it on a hot summer afternoon. However, sweet treats like this are not normally good for people with diabetes to have.

Have you given up ice cream in the interest of your health?

Have you tried diet or "no sugar added" ice creams as a substitute? If so, did they have any effect on your blood sugar?

Have you found any substitutes for ice cream that satisfy that urge on a hot day?
