When traveling by car, we put my husband's insulin in the cooler, but not directly on the ice. He has a case it goes inside of, and then we put that in a small tray meant for sandwiches and the like in the cooler. In hotels, we ask for a small refrigerator. In a pinch, we have taken a bucket of ice, put a small towel over it, and then put the case with the insulin. So far, we haven't had a problem. |
