Topic: Complications and Health Concerns-
ShelleyN, Jul 27 2008 10:18 pm97 words

Diabetes is often called a "silent disease" because it can negatively affect the body with few or no symptoms at first. This is why controlling it on a daily basis becomes so very important.

Has your diabetes caused you any other health concerns? If so, how did you address them?

Do you talk to your doctor about what kinds of complications may arise? Does he or she have advice for avoiding them?

Have you found an approach that helps you not only control your blood sugar, but also helps you maintain a healthy body in other ways?
