Topic: Adding new foods into our diets-
tinap1, Jul 21 2008 8:53 am104 words

We all know that as we're trying to lose weight, we need to cut back on certain foods, but how many of us actually take the opportunity to add new foods into our diet? For example, adding tasty spaghetti squash instead of making pasta is way to bring a healthy new option into your diet. Bringing a new food into our diets every week can be a fun way to look at a weight loss regimen.

What new, healthy foods have you tried while trying to lose weight?

Do these new foods help you with craving the "bad" stuff such as carbs and sweets?

I'm trying to choose more vegetables for snacks, for example using baby carrots intstead of pretzels. I find if I cut up the vegetables and leave them in ziplock baggies or a covered bowl in the fridge, I'm more likely to choose them for a quick snack.
