I crave potato chips in the worst way! So, if I eat them, I not only get the carbs, but the salt as well. Not a good idea. I have found that I just can't eat a little of the kinds I like - I will eat the whole bag every time. So, what I do now is I only buy my non-favorite kind. For instance, I can eat a few pretzels and feel satisfied with no feeling of wanting to eat the whole bag of them. As a result, I will only allow pretzels or chips that I'm not overly thrilled with in the house. That way, I get a little taste, but I don't go overboard. I also only buy them occasionally, because I don't want to indulge too often! |
