Topic: Bad Days-
ShelleyN, Jun 22 2008 12:22 am80 words

Sometimes, losing weight can be difficult. We all hit times when our motivation is lacking and we want to fall back into old patterns.

What kinds of strategies do you use to get yourself back on track when these lows hit?

Do you have a support system with your family or friends to help you through a difficult dieting day?

Do you have certain triggers that set these kinds of days in motion? If so, how do you avoid them?

Whenever I find my motivation lagging, I like to spend a couple of minutes every morning reviewing why losing weight is important to me. Then I make sure that I do something that day to move me closer to my goal. At the end of the evening I take another couple of minutes to think about what I did that day to help me lose weight. I find that focusing on something positive really helps me stay on track.
