Summer is almost here! While thoughts of the sunshine and beaches can make us feel relaxed and happy, people living the diabetes lifestyle also need to take precautions. Bug bites and proper-fitting sandals take on a whole new meaning when you have diabetes. There's also more daylight, warmer temperatures and stronger rays of sunshine. So folks tend to be active longer, and the frequency of fun "beach food" - even healthful food such as fruit - can mess up our diets.
