Topic: weighing at the doctor's office-

How do you handle getting weighed at your routine doctor's office visit? I weigh myself at home, and prefer not to be weighed by the nurse.

I usually refuse at my primary care providers office.
Last time I told them I know I'm fat.

My pulmonologist insists on it.
so I don't have a choice.
But he's the only doc I let get away with putting me on the scale.

Doctor's scales are overweight
They all need to go on a diet.

I love your last statement about overweight docs! They're just people, too, and they have the same struggles as the rest of us. Thanks for making me smile.

Your welcome :)

I think doctors went from God status to people status when one of my then 3 yr olds had encephilitis.
After it was over they said if you let us do bloodwork we can tell you what kind he had.
When the results came back it was inconclusive.
More bloodwork same results.
Boy was I shocked. I thought they could do everything.

That son is now a grown man and doing great.

Interesting story, and I'm glad it turned out so well for your son.
