Topic: cereal for snacks-
LynnGr, Apr 3 2009 7:17 pm25 words

Can breakfast cereal be a healthy mid-afternoon snack? It's quick and easy, and I try to choose cereal high in fiber and low in sugar.

I think cereal is a great afternoon snack.

I don't keep it in the house because I don't measure it so I get a lot more than one serving. Anytime I buy it I eat a box in a day or two.
If I could develope some control I'd love to snack on it again.
Of course now that I think of it I could take a box to school and enjoy it there.
I seem to have a lot more control over stuff I keep at school than I do in my own home.

Enjoy your cereal :)

I don't find it difficult at all to measure out the cereal, maybe because I have really small cereal bowls so 1 cup looks like a lot.

It's interesting that it's easier to eat some foods when you're not at home. I'll have to remember that!

I have plenty of measuring cups and small bowls.
My problem is I enjoy it so much I just eat it w/o measuring and keep on going back for more.

I'm really busy at work so I don't have time to eat eat eat.
We do have snack time and at that time I don't have a problem with stopping at one serving of whatever the snack is.

I use to keep minature chocolate candy at work.
I got rid of it when one piece led to another and another.
It's just really easy to pop that in my mouth and go back for more.
