Topic: Type 2 Diabetes and memory decline link-
tinap1, Mar 30 2009 9:48 am74 words

A recent study in Diabetes Care showed that cognitive functioning abilities dropped as average blood sugar levels rose in people diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. The good news is that there is growing evidence that the association between poor blood glucose control and memory can be detected well before a person develops severe memory loss. Is anyone aware of the Type 2 Diabetes and memory decline complication? Has anyone discussed this with their doctor?
