Has anyone tried the frozen vegetables that you can steam and microwave in their own packages? Are these better than regular frozen vegetables?

No I haven't tried those veggies.

If you decide to try them I'd like to know if the veggies are soft or crunchy when they're cooked.

I tried some last night, and the texture I think depends on how long you cook them. I usually opt for the shortest cooking time recommended on the package, and I thought they were great. We don't have a good supply of fresh vegetables in our grocery stores this time of year, so the frozen veggies really give me more options.

I think I'll give them a try.
Thanks Lynn

We tried the cauliflower last night.
It was really good and the texture was cooked rather than 1/2 raw.
I like cooked the best.
I'd have never tried them if it hadn't been for this post.

Thanks for the idea Lynn

I'm glad you tried them - and they tasted great! I really like the vegetable combinations that they're coming out with in the frozen section as well. Lots of new choices, which helps keep dinnertime interesting.
