I think adding just a teaspoon of milk (non-fat or plain) would be OK. Sometimes I add a half teaspoon of Hershey's chocolate powder to add taste to an oatmeal, but not all the time. I do it once a week. My dad who is not a diabetic but is a health-conscious 76-year old, often put sliced banana in his oatmeal. I also put some artificial sweetener. |
