My meal plan has always been set up to accomplish both. I just got off track.
I'm back on it. Before and after supper are the times I'm most likely to mess up
At this time my meal plan is: Breakfast: 2 carb choices, 1 protein, and a fat
Lunch: 4 carb choices, 1 fat, 2 proteins
Afternoon snack: 2 carb choices and a protein
Supper: 3 carb choices, 1 fat, and 2 proteins.
If I need a snack mid morning and after supper I can do that as long as I work it into my calories.
I get 1500 cals total My biggest problem is staying w/i my protein limits and the pre and after supper situation
