Topic: Overcoming exercise barriers-
tinap1, Feb 11 2009 9:37 am93 words

I read about a study that found obese women create more mental barriers that keep them from exercising than normal or underweight women. The overweight and obese women were more likely to feel self-conscious about how they looked while exercising, felt they lacked self-discipline, hated to fail so didn't try, and felt too overweight to exercise. I can stand to lose a good 30 pounds and I find that I have many of these mental barriers that prevent me from going to the gym. Does anyone have advice on how to overcome this?
