Topic: Flu and pneumonia shots-
tinap1, Nov 13 2008 9:39 am94 words

It's the time of year to think about protection against flu and pneumonia. In general, it's recommended that every person with diabetes get a flu shot. Although the shot doesn't give 100% protection, it makes it harder for you to catch the flu for about 6 months. Did you know that it's important for those living with diabetes to talk to their doctors about getting flu and pneumonia vaccines? Were you aware that it's also a good idea for the people you live with and spend a lot of time with to get vaccinated?
