Topic: Weight or health goals?-
LynnGr, Sep 30 2008 3:42 pm81 words

Is it better to be fat and fit, or skinny and not-so-fit? A recent report in the Archives of Internal Medicine showed that over half of overweight people are "metabolically healthy", meaning that they have good levels of cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood pressure. Surprisingly, about 25% of people in a healthy weight range have at least two cardiovascular risk factors. This brings me to the question: which is more important to you: your actual body weight, or your overall health?
