Topic: How do you handle diet slip-ups?-
tinap1, Sep 25 2008 8:22 am69 words

It's easy to fall into the "I'll get back on track on Monday" trap (my personal favorite) when we've had a day or two of diet slips. I've heard that it's better to get right back on track than procrastinate when you've diverted from your eating plan. How do you handle getting back on track after a slip-up? Do you wait or dive right back into your daily plan?

I had this same conversation yesterday with a friend! She always waits until the next Monday to start back on her diet plan, but I like to get back on track as soon as possible. I remind myself that we live in an imperfect world, and we can't expect perfection from ourselves. That helps me refocus and make healthier choices right away.
