Topic: Classes on Diabetes Management-
ShelleyN, Sep 22 2008 4:04 pm124 words

When you have diabetes, you need to learn quite a bit about a lot of different subjects. What to eat, when to eat it, the importance of exercise, and testing your blood sugar levels are just a few of the considerations you need to be knowledgeable about. Some communities, hospitals, and/or doctors offer classes in diabetes management to help with some of this.

Have you ever attended a class on diabetes management? If so, was it helpful?

If you haven't been to one yet, are any offered in your area? If they were offered, is it something you think you would attend?

Do you think classes like these can offer anything more than what you can learn on your own? Why or why not?
