Topic: Hitting a Plateau-
ShelleyN, Sep 18 2008 10:20 pm78 words

When losing weight, sometimes we hit what is called a "Plateau." This is where the weight loss virtually stops, even though you are still eating right and getting enough exercise. A plateau can be very discouraging.

Have you ever hit a plateau when trying to lose weight?

Have you found anything that helps break the plateaus and start the weight loss again?

Do you have any advice for someone currently "stuck" at their weight and is feeling discouraged?

I like to think of a plateau as a time to continue to practice all the new eating habits and activities that allowed me to lose weight. It's also a good time to try a different type of exercise. The last time I hit a plateau, I changed up my workout routine in the gym, and it really helped!
