Topic: Childhood Diabetes-
ShelleyN, Sep 9 2008 5:58 pm84 words

There have been several articles written lately about childhood diabetes. Type 1 diabetes used to be the one most frequently seen in childhood, but type 2 is now becoming prevalent as well.

Do you know any children who have been diagnosed? How old are they?

Do you worry about your own children (or relative's/friend's children) for diabetes? How do you approach it with them?

Do you think the strategies for handling the diagnosis and treatment should be different for children? Why or why not?
