Topic: Hitting a Rut-
ShelleyN, Aug 1 2008 10:40 pm77 words

Keeping your exercise routine going is obviously very important. But, we all hit ruts and lose motivation at some point.

Do you switch the kinds of exercises or workouts that you do from time to time in order to motivate yourself better?

Have you hit a rut in your routine lately and, if so, how did you get out of it?

Does changing your workouts around a bit help you to keep on track for your goals?

I usually exercise by myself, so to break out of a rut it's fun to exercise with someone else for a change. I might go for a bike ride with a friend, or a walk with my husband, or even try a group class at the gym. I don't do these routinely, so it feels fresh and fun.
