Topic: Working exercise into our workday-
tinap1, Jul 25 2008 12:31 pm131 words

I've been hearing a lot about people who are working exercise into their workday, which makes sense as many of us spend most of our days at the office. I know people who have joined a gym and take their lunch break to work out and others who take jogs (which without shower facilities may not be as practical). Other ways to incorporate exercise into your workday are closing your door (if you have one) and doing some yoga moves, or bringing in a jump rope or climbing flights of stairs.

Have you found a way to get fit by working out during your workday?

What practical suggestions do you have to share for people who may have to dress up and want to work in physical activity during the day?

When I used to work in an office building, I would walk with a group of other women after lunch every day. We would just walk around the grounds, but we got to chat, get some fresh air, and work off some of our lunch. It not only helped increase our activity levels, but it also was a great way to reduce the stress of the workday.
