Topic: Burning more calories by increasing muscle mass-
tinap1, Jul 13 2008 10:36 am105 words

One of the key factors in losing fat is to increase muscle mass and burn more calories. Resistance training is a great way to do this. Other ways include things like standing at your desk when you're on the phone at work or while reading, or walking over to a colleague rather than sending an e-mail. The amount of muscle mass that's involved in an activity is one of the biggest things that determines how many calories you'll burn, and the more muscle mass you involve, the more burn you'll have.

What's your favorite calorie-burning activity?

Do you do resistance training? Have you seen results?
